Pasilla Chili Pepper, Dried
Essential Spice Dried Pasilla Negro Chilies are the dried version of Chilaca Peppers.
These can be found in the regions of Oaxaca and Peubla, Mexico. Pasilla Negros chilies are most commonly used to make pastes and popular Mexican mole dishes, and can be mixed with other dried chilies to get an extra flavor aspect. This long, dark & wrinkly chili produces a mild-medium spice, smoky flavor.
